He is definitely playing too many minutes. I think Stevens is giving him confidence that he believes in him. With that said I think he will lose minutes as season goes by. The Celtics have lot of guys that need to play. Dont be surprised to see Heyward lose time. He did have major surgery . With that said I maxed out on his season ppg. Under 18.

I thought he was better than this, he is not even a top 10 player any night on the court

I do not think he can start for any team, go get a killer that wants to play hard every night and hit the boards

Boston would trade him in a heartbeat- he plays the same position as Tatum - who would want that contract ?

Okay hes probably not 100% so work him into shape 20 minutes a night, take the bad first 40 games then hes ready 2nd half...

You do t think k that leg is 100% yet do you? Or his trust in it... Celtics winning East with or without him anyway

Correct. It will take time. Celts will figure this out. Think they have a high 1st rounder next year as well. SAC?
Nothing really matters in the league as long as GS stays healthy and intact. They are literally toying with most opponents like a varsity scrimmage vs. the JV.

He'll be fine once spring rolls around, Boston has everything right where they want it. Going to be a great championship showdown with dub nation this year.

Silver going to let everyone just play this year instead of special treatment for LeBron as usual every finals

Boston going to get trashed by Toronto... Their biggest achievement this season will be making the ECF. That is unless Brad Stevens is able to get the max out of everyone. Its not only Howard who's struggling. ..

Its early but yeah... Toronto looks pretty solid.

Forget about meeting the Warriors in the Finals, the Celtics are getting out of the East either with that Stout rebuilt Toronto Raptors team that just keeps winning games.. That Raptors team is stacked with new talent..

He is still getting his rhythm back. Right now you can see he still is missing his pre-injury burst. No reason to panic if you are a Boston backer.

Adding 2 starters back into what was a strong playoff rotation takes time. Stevens will work on lineup combos over the next 4-6 weeks and things will get on track.

Hayward’s return stunts Brown and Rozier development the most.

Sno, you know better. Shit is HARD. You have to draft well, take the free agents who are available and willing to come to your team.
Unlike MLB, NBA has a salary cap and harsh penalties for going over. Think Cavs were paying like 20 or 30 mil in penalties those last few years with 1 chip to show for it.
They made an all out effort for Durant. I understand it is all speculation, but they will have the best package for A. Davis when he becomes F.A.
Rapts are for real for sure. Celts seem to play like crap up north. Doesn`t really matter this year, but if they can`t sign Leonard, they will be the same old Rapts.

Paul Pierce, Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman discuss the Boston Celtics disappointing start to the regular season, the Toronto Raptors improvements and how concerned should the Philadelphia 76ers be with Markelle Fultz.
