The Redbirds lost a high scoring affair against Belmont last time out. They are going to be ready to hammer someone and in walks Chicago state.... The lowly D1 program they've been for years now.
ISU gets almost a week off after this one so they will not be looking ahead as they have plenty of time for that. An experienced team, off a loss, at home... Against a much lesser opponent.

Pepperdine No Colorado over 157.5
With Romar in as coach at Pepperdine I expect them to play with pace and fill up the scoreboard like his teams love to do. They also won't play a ton of defense. northern Colorado is a talented offensive team as well. These two played to a 84-82 game last year. Enter romar into the equation and this should be both teams hitting 80 again.
I like the waves +9 as well but not playing it at this point. If it goes to +10 I would love it.

Crazy shit happens early in the season. No way to prepare for games like this. I had C. Florida -21.5 against a pitiful Fl. Atlantic team, and they ended up losing straight up.

I missed out on Furman against Loyola in game 1. I think it's a very good opportunity and idea to fade loyola to start this season. They are going to be WAY overvalued after that run last year. Yes they're still talented. But the public will be all over them and it's going to be hard to replicate those wins with everyone giving them their best shot. Niagra has an experienced roster. They just best st Bonnie's who is always tough. This is simply too many points in my opinion.

I like the Aggies this year. They are full of seniors and juniors. They're deep. Theyre experienced. They had a good season last year and want to build on that and this is a huge game for them. They added jojo zamora, a transfer from Utah. As long as they keep St Mary's in check from 3, I think they win this game on thier home floor.
This may be a team I come back to alot this year. They're a bit small, but I think they can negate that with their depth by throwing bodies around.

I think this should be a close, back and forth game. Both teams have solid offenses and shoot the ball well. Last year total hit 146, 2017 it was 160. Same coaching regimes for both. These two have no problem getting into the 140s together.

I watched St. Mary's against Utah Valley and i really liked Fordham. The guy can shot and attack the rim really well. I'm on the over on that game. BOL
