I think I mentioned this before, that in years past I’ve noticed Big Ten refs’ bias towards bubble teams late in season, seemingly pushing to get more B1G teams into the big dance to get more conference revenue. Paul Szelc officiated the Indiana football - I mean basketball game today and missed a dozen over the back calls and plenty of IU players holding Winston. In the most physical game I’ve watched all week, MSU got only 5 FT attempts. Paul Szelc also officiated the Iowa@OSU game earlier this week. In that game McCaffery father-son coach-player duo both got Technicals and Fran McCaffrey got suspended 2 games for following refs into tunnel after game and yelling “you cheating mf’ers, you cheated!” Both OSU and IU are bubble teams.Comment -

Beat me to it. I love SMU at home today on senior day. Watched the first matchup between these two teams. Very close contested game, Foul trouble and Witchita’s home court advantage doomed SMU down the stretch. I think Mcmurray, Chagrois, Mike, And Jimmy Whitt all have big games today in a Mustang Victory.
