So my dream scenario is a possibility but long shot. Fred Hoiberg (old Iowa State coach, they loved him & called him The Mayor) just got fired by Chicago Bulls today. Rumors are he will return to college at a top notch program. His son plays on MSU’s practice team and gets the occasional last minute of play in blowouts like today. Izzo sucks, he lost his edge, he is old and on his way out in next 3 years anyways I’d guess. MSU should hire Hoiberg!!!

MSU will never fire Izzo, just won't happen. But yeah, Hoiberg will likely find his way back to college basketball. He built quite the program before he left college.

Their M.O. has been to stick with teams for 30 mins then pull away but tired legs may hurt them here. Add in fact that USC is biggest team TCU will have faced and it’s strength vs strength in 2pt scoring/defense here.

I did find it strange tcu played just the other day. I’ve seen few b2b or just one day off early this year. Didn’t know they did that outside tourneys?? I never recall seeing anyways.. def a advantage for ya..

I’m not sure if the length be a issue or the tougher lower center of gravity guys win out? I might be biased cause I always been shorter when playing down low (I’m only 6’1) but always been able to play w taller guys using my strength and girth!! Occasionally I’d run across a 6’6-6’7 guy that just flat out had hops and was difficult for me! Lol.. (anyways back on track, lol)..

Dixon teams always tough for me to figure out early on cause he a coward and never schedules tough or on road in early season, prob why his teams always bounced early. Instead of padding a phony record he outta get his team battle tested imo!!! Who knows how real their numbers are? I don’t! Lol.
