As mentioned could miss extra point and pack connect on prayer then 2 point conversion!! His play gave them the greatest statistical probability to win, as in it was over minute he took knee.

Lets say, they score the TD and miss the pat. And they would be leading by only 8 and leaving 30+ seconds. What if GB scores td and 2 pt conversion ?

At that point doesn’t matter. I think he was going down regardless, as score was nobody can really gripe. Had it been 3 then guys could complain I suppose.
