As a giants fan, I think what is lost in all of the disgust this year, is Pat Shurmur. He really does not have a great track record as an offensive coach. He basically had 1 good yr with minny last year. He wasnt all that great in his other yrs with minny, phily, clev, stl

Didn’t even think he deserved all that much credit for minny offense last year, most their explosive plays were Keemun playing backyard fb throwing it to a couple elite wrs! Never thought shermer was a good oc, calls mostly dink and dunk bs and is ultra conservative.

I didn't know much about Pat Shrumur coming into this year but immediately did not like him starting Game 1 against Dallas. Opening drive they should have went for it on 4th and inches at the 50 but he hesitated. And then next drive down 7 he goes for it on his own 40 yard line on 4th and inches.

I liked there to be more points in that game than this one and total is 3 points higher!! Just can’t trust nyg to score, they have only hit 30 twice in last I dunno 3 or so years!! They've given up 100 in their last 3 games. Atl actually had some decent talent on D in the opener vs the Eagles, but 5-6 of their key guys are on IR. They've given up 107 in their last 3 games. How does that spell under? I guess you could have 8 min drives that end up in fg's, but it seems like both defenses are overmatched?

I just hope gmen feed him enough. All these teams so quick to get away from the rushing game these days, drives me crazy. Maybe just maybe you would give your defense a fighting chance if you stayed committed to the ground game and limited other teams possessions!!

Yes you did. I even gave them the nugget about nyg almost never hitting 30. Tough to take a over in the 50s when you know 1 team can’t score 30!! And their only chance to make it close is to keep game in low-mid 20s!!
