I agree with you guys on Hue Jackson, as I have not believed in him since he was the OC for USC and Paul Hackett and between them both they nearly drove Carson Palmer's career right into the ground.

I just don't see why the Browns would not continue to be patient with a guy who was 1-31 the last two years yet they decide to keep him, then he wins 2 games already in 2018 but they want to fire him? you gave him a chance like Dumb Arses by keeping him around now you don't let him see the season through? maybe they're afraid he goes 8-7-1 and then they feel the pressure is to keep him

He should be fired even if they win. But Blank won't fire this guy mid-season. First, he doesn't do that, he let Smith finish out. Second, Quinn has nobody on his staff who even could be an interim. Who can take over? Sarkisian?

Jackson will not finish the season. It's just a matter of when. If they didn't rally, I could have seen them firing him today. They will get pounded by the Steelers this week, so maybe then.

I dont see much sense in firing coaches midseason, if youre bad a new coach isnt going to come in and just turn it around and you make the playoffs, has that ever happened before.

i think one of the main reasons they don't do it is because they end up promoting a guy off the current staff and he goes on a good run but they want to hire a new guy postseason, it creates controversy as players and fans want the interim guy who went on the good run

yea you are right, during the season prob best to promote a coordinator who's already there and at least knows the team and in offseason go with a fresh face
