Who else will pay their stupid tax...the mega lottos
Worst odds ever. I paid mine yesterday. The odds of scoring the $654 million Mega Millions prize is 1 in 302 million, while the $345 million Powerball is sporting odds of 1 in 292 million, Allstate said

They should find a way to spread these millions out to multiple winners, hence lowering the the odds.

Eh, I'll throw a few bucks at it. Basically impossible, but it may hit $1B, and somebody has to win it.

Stupid tax paid. I’m in for 50. Can’t win if you don’t play.

          I got one.

Funny thing to me is, people are always like “mega millions is up to 600 mil, make sure you get your ticket!”

Like winning when it’s at the initial amount isn’t worth it. Lmao

Visualize this on your chances of winning.

You're flying at 25,000 feet over a beach, and there is one grain of sand that is painted red. You have one drop of water to hit that one red grain of sand. You fly over, you drop. Good luck.

only 150 million taking the lump sum after tax. Not worth it.

I live in Nevada. No lotteries. Well, there's Keno. Probably about the same odds.

It's legislated robbery. Taking the lump sum drops you to just over half the amount-- and this is BEFORE fed, state and city taxes.
Accepting payments means they give you none of the principal--just the interest, and not even all of it at that.
                        On the Win 4 & 3's the takeout is a staggering 50%.
And we're not even counting the rigging incidents.
Or the states that obligate winners to divulge identity publicly.

Life sucks...and then you die. But as Lottery people would say, another sucker player is born every 5 seconds + another one immigrates every 10.

They suck in more people when the jackpots hit astronomical numbers. Heck, I don't even play it unless it's over $300 million. Lower payouts aren't real popular which is why they've basically taken away the little win amounts and pushed it to the jackpot.
