nice call OP and bad call by me (i favored TAILing cavs but i didn't feel strongly about it)...

trae young and hawks is interesting....... i'm thinking young's style fits the style of a crappy team that covers (at least until he gets tired out)...

did you miss the hawks other two games where they were destroyed by the knicks and memphis lol? this is the cavs. ty lue is the worst defensive concerned head coach i have ever seen. including danton'i. (well magic johnson's first coach didn't believe in defense when he got to loyola mt lol). lebron covers up so much for a bad team controlling pace. this cavs team is in trouble until they fire lue. slow the pace and use love in the post more and they can be decent for the east.

Fading Cavs is a good plan but I think betting overs in their games will be even better. They are a horrific defensive team, and always have been under Ty Lue. But now, their games have even more possessions because they have been practicing with 14 second shot clocks in order to play at a much faster pace.

Hell, they may not win more games than the Browns. This team sucks. Whoever thought KLOVE could lead a team to wins has a screw loose. Ty Lue is so awful. Did they have a training camp? Did they work on defense? Why are they playing uptempo with so many old legs. They should slow the game down and work deep in clocks.

i'd blindly put my money on Hawks +7 as the Cavs may have had lucky covers but they will struggle to be able to mentally pull out a win and cover of that magnitude as they will be thinking... if this gets close late... we don't have LeBron to bail us out... they won't know who to give the ball too.

The entire team was built around Lebron. Even his first stint in Cleveland, the organization built the team totally around him. They just cannot win games without him. Their record without Lebron is probably one of the worst in all the NBA. Having a figure head coach doesn't help matter as well. They needed a coach like Blatt that can actually coach but who Lebron never wanted. Tough days ahead for the Cavs. The rebuild is real and may take a very long, long time. You lose Lebron and Kyrie Irving? Ouch.

Lue is foolish with his style. he actually thinks its a winning strategy. i remember when he replace blatt he kept saying how he wanted to speed things up. as lebron and team gets older. he is a one sided coach that can only function as an offensive assistant. not a head coach until he learns that defense matters too. not to mention he can't motivate this team because they don't consider him a championship winning coach, but a guy that was along for the ride with lebron.
