Entertainment. We lose/spend money on most things for entertainment. This has the added bonus of at times bringing some back, but overall most of us are not ahead lifetime despite what you will hear of the contrary around here where everyone wants you to believe they winners!!

same reason, grown men build model airplanes or rockets, thrill of the ride, bragging rights, makes watching men in tight pants or shorts worth watching. what is the movie let it ride " I dont understand why you have to bet, cant you just watch the horses run around"

If you want to win just wait for Seaweed to post a play. Fade that play and you will win. Thank me later.

Or anywhere else. Plenty of solid cappers around, plenty of guys have good seasons. Just saying in grand scheme of things if we were to keep a 100% accurate and honest lifetime tally of money won/lost doubt many could say they were up if they been doing this for any real amount of time. The guys who say otherwise are either relatively new to this (easy to have few good years), liars, or both!

I cap several sports that I hit a high enough percentage relative to the money line to profit, but I’d be flat out lying if I told you that equated to me being up lifetime!! Lol. We all have went on tilt more than once, have taken shots that missed, etc etc.

Sadly, roughingThePunter is gone, and I don't think any type of replacement for it has come up.
