I'm not a fan of his, I just don't think he's even hit his prime yet.

I took a flyer on Mitchell. Probably a long shot, but like the 40-1 odds. Las year's avg was dragged down by the first 1/2 the year where he wasnt getting the minutes or shots he got later on. Now he's coming into the year as the man in utah and will be putting up a lot of shots

If I were just picking most likely to win I'd say Davis if he stays healthy. Dude was going nuts last year after Boogie went down and it seems like he really wants to make a run at MVP this year.

LeBron doesn't want to shorten his career scoring more points at this stage. He will average career lows in points this year and highs in assists and rebounds.

Trae Young +50000 could be worse. He's about the only one who will be shooting on that team. I obviously don't think he's got a great chance but at that price I think it's definitely possible on a Hawks team that has nothing to lose

Harden, Westbrook and Lillard gets my vote.. If I had to pick one it would be James Harden... At plus +250 not a really bad bet but then you gotta factor in injuries and what not.. If it were +400 I'd be on it.. +250 gonna take a pass..

                                grunching....

from discussions/results last couple of years, i would say only bet on someone who shoots/makes alot of 3 pointers. otherwise, it's too much work/energy and eventually player has to slow down work rate (hence, scoring rate)

and stating the complete obvious, players who didn't come close last year who are in same/similar situation this year are poor bets.

i think there's new coach in milwaukee. so there's that and if greek freak improves shooting at some point, he's an extremely strong contender for leading scorer.

i like the Trae Young angle. great situation.................

kevin love is new situation too. and he was beast scorer in minnesota. i get the idea that can't be expected again although it wasn't that long ago

Harden wanted the MVP last season, he won't be as motivated this year, Giannis's jump shot looks much improved, the only question is if he can stay healthy.

I hear ya but nothing will stop Harden from taking shots.

I think he avgs 31-32 this year

This is one NBA rule/award that should be changed.

The scoring champ/winner of "scoring title" should be the player with the most points scored for the season, not the highest average to "eligible players"

I remember a few years back melo sitting to win a scoring title when Kd had a subpar final game. Couple other instances of this.

Guys should be rewarded for playing games and scoring.
