I don't do that much stock...mostly buy strong companies and hold as long term investment. Bought amazon at $988 sometime around fall of last year for $100k and still holding...I think it will hit $3k with in a year.

But in sports betting, I am pretty consistent. But the biggest recent fluctuations from my winnings was because of using bitcoin in betcris. I remember once I withdrew 30k by bitcoin and it arrived promptly but i i was busy and didn't convert the coin to fiat until 2 days after and it literally gained 12% in 2 days! In another occasion i withdrew 30k when bitcoin was at around $16174 and it dropped all the way to $15500 when i was ready to convert to fiat. So i decided to hold and wait for it to reach atleast 16k before converting but it only kept falling. Eventually i gave up the wait and ate the lossess, and converted it when bitcoin was around $8700, lost nearly 50% of my winnings!

Good stocks/companies always do. But it can backfire if you are doing it with some shit stock/company.
