Why no hockey games Friday night?

Used to be a huge hockey fan- sad but true- the sport is dead and totally boring now- can't watch until march- right before playoffs.

I love hockey. Especially overtime and shootouts.

I'm also wondering why no Friday games. I think there's 12 on Thursday and 14 on Saturday. But none on Friday.

Hockey is probably the only sport where you can drop in and enjoy a regular season game. What kinda comment is this...

Probably just scheduling conflicts. The arenas booked for other things.

Also considering 6+ teams lost games due to the hurricane. Figured someone would prefer to make it up now instead of in January

The sched is set early though. Each arena sends in a list of the days that they cannot have a game. ie rock concert, basketball game etc. Then a schedule is made. The teams then check it out, if they have no conflicts then the schedule is approved.
