Strange indeed. I don’t think so far as becoming free agent but don’t for sure know rule. Seems crazy to pass on 15 mil for 1 year for so long while getting fined like 150k each week I believe!! I’m mostly of the opinion nobody worth the money other than qb in this league who’s garbage rules make having a good qb mandatory. I’m sure the money be better spent on defense seeing how they havnt had a pass rush since shazier lost his career. For this season tho him chewing up 1st downs will do the defense a world of good cause right now every game a shootout and they get no rest as big rapist just chucking it all over every game.

If he wasn't trying to max out his next deal I'd agree with you. I think he comes out prepared so that he puts on a good show for those courting him. At this point that is all that matters to him.

yes. and report by week 10 at the latest. the guy clearly stated he has no interest in 400 touches through a season giving more chances to risk injury. so he foregoes about 6.3 million for a chance at 50-60 million. no guarantee of non injury, but definitely half the risk. but some guys here that have never even played hs football don't understand that lol
