these same dumb@sses demanded the league spend $100 million on "social justice" causes now finally realized the revenue should be coming to them. phucking morons can't think for themselves but it's too late they burned up their goodwill with the anthem protests.

if they wanted "social justice" and equality they would demand the college players get paid and cut funding to the money-losing sports and every woman's college 'sport'. That's the fair, accurate solution. Anything less you're just being delusional about who is paying for what.

Why would the NFL pay for health insurance for retired players?
They were in a union, and like any other employee in any other field, can pay for their own in retirement or get the union to pay for it in negotiations.
Why would the NFL pay HOFers a salary? What work are they performing? If they don't want to be in the HOF just decline the honor. The notoriety of being a HOF player is, in itself, a financial benefit bestowed upon them to the exclusion of other retired players.
This is an argument that has zero basis and lacks any merit other than entitlement for the few. Retired football players are no different than retired beer delivery guys in that there is a pension for them, negotiated by their elected representatives in a union they chose to become part of.
Ridiculous request and even more ridiculous threat....boycott the HOF... every red blooded American dreams of being these guys for 1 day and these clowns continue to spit in the face of the hands that feed them.

Billionaire Whites vs. Millionaire Blacks.
I don't give a shitte, let them destroy each other. Ratings are down. Attendance is down. The game is becoming a joke.
Rules and Officiating are becoming a joke.
If the National Felon League went away tomorrow, I would shed nary a tear.
I don't watch it and I don't bet on it.

They already essentially get a salary.
Being a HOF player immediately allows them to make a lot of money in appearance fees or autograph signings.

Nhl players can buy health insurance for life within 60 days off retirement at a reasonable price as long as they played in 160 games. Average nhl player plays in 200.
All nba players who played 3 or more years get health insurance.
NFL makes tons of money. Time to step up

League passes are another story.. Didn't mention that.. Gets pricey for sure with Directv..
I've gotta call in every 2 or 3 months to ask them to lower the bill pricing and they always do.. If I never called in regularly and threatened to cancel to lower my monthly bill I would probably be paying around $200 a month today for the basics.. Gotta call in regularly with Directv or they will jack the bill at every turn.

NitroTV is over 3,000 channels and growing for $15/month.
Includes every major sports package, 300 network channels, PPV movies and events, and every cable and movie channel available plus channels from over 8 other countries.
Anyone paying ridiculous fees for cable or satellite is either uninformed or dumb!

Union should fight for players that are in the league for 10+ years get health insurance covered.
Union should also fight for something like 10k for each year they played, with a max of 100k for retirement that they receive at 50 years old.
