People loved Tyson, despite his many flaws, that’s why Mike is able to do well these days and make some coin despite going bust on all the money he made from fighting.

For the most part people hate Floyd. He spent his career dodging anyone who might potentially beat him, almost always fighting folks that were well past their prime or not in his league experience-wise, like the Canelo matchup. (Today that would obviously be a much better fight but no way Floyd would take it.) Boring fighter who didn’t inspire passion in fans like a Tyson did. He also treats women and most people like shit.
