#38Yeah, being in Cleveland was the issue with him. You don't truly believe that or did you just want to take an unfounded shot at Cleveland. When he pulls the same shit in NE I would assume you're going to call them an awful organization.
No doubt Cleveland's organization has been awful - but that had jack shit to do with Gordon's issues. Also, Cleveland is making major strides to turn things around and they gave Gordon the chance to be a part of that. The new brain trust in Cleveland who finally know what they are doing, made the smart decision and took out the trash.
Gordon still has major demons and I don't believe a change of scenery will make a difference. He may flash for a moment, but don't think he's there the rest of the season.
Originally posted by Grits n' GravyInteresting move. If the issues with Gordon are really just weed and booze, he is worth a flyer. If there is more to it though, this will be a short stay. Playbook will be tough to pick up for him so expect a lot of fly and go routes if he plays.
Change of scenery should be good for him. Cleveland is just a flat out awful organization from top down.Comment -

#54Doesn’t matter whether it’s legal or not. The NFL has it as a prohibited substance.Originally posted by 44 MagLeast mobile guy in the league, always has been.
BUT, smoking weed is now legal here in Mass. so Gordon should have no problem, unless he has 100 pounds in his trunk.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

#58Browns get a fifth round pick, but they must give Patriots back late-round pick if Gordon is not on New England active roster Week 10.Originally posted by cincinnatikid5135th round pick lol, give gordon 2 weeks w pats before they release him
Given that wordage, why would Patriots not make Gordon healthy inactive Week 10 and then re-activate him Week 11?

#64The Browns got more than they asked for
They were asking a 6th but NE didn't have a 6th so they gave a 5th.
However, NE's pick will be late 5th round anyway.
The pick that would go back if he's not active for 10 games is a 7th and 7th rounders have really no value.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual

#67Tom Brady was not a seventh rounder and if you look at the seventh round from any draft, you’ll see what I mean about those picks not having value. Undrafted free agents have a better track record than seventh round picks.[quote=jjgold;5683305]I win again like usual
