8-3 to start the season, I'm on Detroit at -6.5. Matt Stafford doesn't beat good teams and he's inconsistent on the road, but he's been good against bad teams at home. Detroit's offensive line was hurt last year and they had no running game, but this year they are healthy and they added Blount and Johnson to go with Abdullah. Detroit's weakness on defense is inconsistent pass rush with the front four, but against a rookie quarterback with weak receivers Detroit should be able to blitz.
