weird time to take shots a dez when the team that cut him blew chunks. not that i think dez would have helped much, because dak would not have been capable of throwing him a catchable ball, but still

The guy has probably got the capability of being a decent #2. The problem is that he has the superstar entitled ego of a #1.

yup. his time of being a #1 is over, hes not the same as that 3 year stretch where he had 1200yards/12tds. still has lots of offer though

He’s not playing in Dallas because of money. The same reason the kicker is no longer there. Gotta wonder what’s going on in Jerry world

bailey did have groin problems also, and his numbers were going down. surprised they replaced him with maher, as he bounced around the cfl and really wasnt anything special

Thought bailey came back fine after his injury last season but don’t have his stats so you could be right. Think I read he was due 3 mil this year which I guess is a lot for a kicker?

Dez has to latch on to a team and he's a number 2???? There are 32 number 2's better than Dez??? Take the paycut and stay with the cowboys. The market is not there for a physical guy who gets zero YAC.

What if he went to someody like the Saints - promised to keep his mouth shut and play for peanuts? If you were the Saints - would you take him? The guy has the world by the nuts - free agent - his talent can get him on a winning team. If the Patriots can get Josh Gordon to straighten out? But, he must not want to win bad enough? He must have always been just about himself.

Saints bite the hook. Dez is going to be a decoy. He will be thrown to rarely. He must want to play the Cowboys really bad on the 29th, but I think he gets cut or released by that time.

Should be a good fit. Dez won't need to carry the team and should get favorable matchups and could be a solid redzone target that the Saints are lacking right now
