There is no reason with increasing parity they cant recruit equally with the likes of Boise, Nevada, or 2nd tier Big10 schools. I don't see what their problem is other than bad hires

Kansas is a State school, no reason they can’t compete in football. The Rock Chalk Jayhawk hoops program is top perennially in top ten.

They’ve been playing since 1890. Have been to 12 bowl
games, ever. Haven’t sniffed .500 since they fired the fat man. No reason they can’t compete outside of every reason. Kansas isn’t winning jack.

just gotta get good recruiters, gotta get the 2 and 3 star and some jucos, get the kids who are good but maybe didnt score well academically and somehow get them there, sell them on youre playing in the big 12. in other conferences you can get a few good kids based on the fact they will be playing in a big time league and can showcase themselves against the oklahomas and okie st's of the world. then you need a good football coach to pull off some upsets thats how you get people to start looking at your school again and kansas will be a team on the rise if all that happens
