                    Cilic not a fan fav. When your legs go, it’s nice to have that crowd lift you up. Nishi has crowd support from the start. Cilic started to go crazy after he lost a few points and sent a ball into the crowd. Amazing he made it through that de Minaur match where the whole stadium was rooting Alex on.

                                    There is a massive Asian population in that part of Queens where the tournament is. Asian players get almost as much support as US players at the US Open.

                                    As for Cilic, he does okay with fans, but no he's not going to win over a predominantly Asian crowd playing the top Asian player. US Open loves a good upset too, that's why they were rooting on Minaur.
