80 unforced errors from fed, he must have thought the game was crabbing as he hit the ball into the net repeatedly.

All Milfman had to do was hit the ball down the middle and fed would hit it into the net. Milfman fell into a puddle of mud and came out with a gold watch in each hand

Match ended at around 1:00am ET. Afterwards, Millman said he has a fantasy football draft at 7:00am ET. He has #1 pick and said he was undecided between Gurley and Bell.

                        no he did not

It was not a grand slam win, that changes your life

He is a journeyman that is older and had a lucky win, it happens all the time tennis

Well, it was a big win in a grand slam event. But you are right, it will eventually be forgotten over time unless he wins the whole thing.

Financially, has to be significant. Got paid more for this match than all of his other matches his year combined.

Gurley is definitely the right answer here btw.

I said in my contest thread before this match that just by getting this far he was guaranteed almost a quarter of his lifetime earnings. The guy didn't beat anyone in the ATP in his first 7 years. He has now not only won almost $1 million AUD but he beat Fed. It is life-changing for him. For sure!

Fed couldn't handle the humidity. He said this week it bothers him a lot.
Still thought he would handle Millman but he was very bothered and
figured with no way to advance past this round in this weather
best to just let Millman have his career payout. Seriously I believe that
                                      he gifted Millman.

No one said he's winning the tourney! And I'm sure he doesn't care if no one remembers his name. A 29 year old journeyman just made a million bucks in a few hours. Game, set, match.

By now, Federer was uncharacteristically drenched in sweat on a claustrophobically hot and humid evening. “It's just one of those nights where I guess I felt I couldn't get air," he said later. "One of the first times it's happened to me." And his shoulders drooped even further when the match turned decisively during the third-set tie-break.

Good for Milfman, biggest win of his career. Who cares if fed was hitting into the net like he was in a batting cage? Pretty damn sure Milfman would take it 10 out of 10 times

What’s even more amazing is Fed was serving for the 2nd set up 40-15. Looked like it was gonna be a routine match. Crazy stuff

Roger quit. The conditions didn’t favor him and he broke down mentally.

I know absolutely nothing about tennis, but I know Fed. Was on a heater sun/mon so I threw 500 on fed live with heavy chalk. Will not bet tennis again.
