its just another rule thats created so that the refs can control the game in whatever way they want. Defensive holding is my favorite bs penalty. 5 yard penalty but automatic first down that can basically be called every play if they wanted to

the players have outgrown the rules so to speak, and are too athletic, which means more injuries and rules that completely change the game to prevent them

the games take forever, so does baseball but thats more of a global game plus people dont mind sitting outside in nice weather during the summer.

Although the NFL game has changed significantly in recent years,
THIS YEAR is going to be so different that astute cappers are changing
the way they cap the game on various levels. Many will be left behind

The weather delays are crazy.

I’ve watched football my entire life and never remember one person getting hit by lightning during the 90s....there were no weather delays back then either.

If there is a storm over the Stadium, ok...delay the game 10 minutes. However, when a storm is 30 miles away, why delay the game for three hours?

The targeting penalties are ridiculous too. Why not call a penalty based on intent. 95% of these hits are accidental. A player ducks at the last second and then boom.

Also, why eject players? Ejecting players doesn’t cause it to happen less.
