An update that isn't on the Caring Bridge site is the conversation we had with the Infectious Disease team. Yes, They are treating him for Guillian Barre Syndrome they think it is something more or in addition to GBS. Andy is having cardiomyopathy and we were told if things go well that may be 8-12 weeks in itself. I can't leave his side, I want to be here when he wakes up and opens his eyes and takes a breathe. All of your positive posts truly are helping me! The funds sent via Venmo go 100% to us, although Go Fund me is great they take a %.

Again thank you!!! Bigday is fighting hard, I know that he needs to make it to the next bash, our girls next birthdays and our next adventure (Angelman Syndrome Gala)!

Anytime. I've never met BigDay or yourself, but judging by the overhwhelming and amazing stories posters have shared and their thoughts and feelings, I felt compelled to donate. I've never seen such a consesus on someone being such a great guy (and couple!)

My daughter Has/had Miller-Fischer Syndrome. That is an extremely rare variant of Guillen Barre Syndrome. She all of a sudden had paralyzed for a few days. It was long recovery which she had to use a wheel chair for 4 months and an eyepatch for 6 months. My daughter had this at 7 years old and she graduates High School this year. She only had 1 relapse in 10 years. Tell your husband if it is Guillen Barre that most likely he will have a small relapse in a few years but it usually isnt as severe as the first episode.
