Cubs lineup is tremendously deep. Syndergaard has not been lights-out, especially in recent starts.

I mean, they got guys like Schwarber batting 7th and David Bote batting 9th.

John Lester looked good in just his past two starts, but those were against Detroit and Pittsburgh. Mets kinda in the same category on offense, granted, but it wasn't too long ago the Mets put up 16 then 24 runs themselves on consecutive days in hitter-friendly ballparks..
