Does this equate to pitchers being stronger or hitters being weaker?

In another few years you could see the exact opposite

I wouldn't push the panic button just yet

the shift contributes as well as bullpen taking over games past the 5th and lots of fresh arms.

Goose Gossage just ripped MLB in an interview. Says boring lol

He's right...the game is all or nothing and the best atletes dont get to steal or hit n run or make diving catches anymore.

Me and a friend were talking about this this morning. Baseball looks like it may go the way of the dinosaur. The game has not evolved nor does it want to evolve. It's mostly watched by old people. Our young kids are playing interactive video games and watching yutube and netflix. They have zero interest in baseball. Ticket prices are outrageous for games that are too boring and way too long. I rather pay $4 to see Rice or UH play football than a couple hundred to see the Astros. My kids rather watch and DOTA, Overwatch or Fortnite tournament than baseball. ESPORTS are going to quickly surpass MLB and it will most likely surpass football as well.

All professional leagues have better embrace change, sooner rather than later. The NBA seems to be the only one that innovates.

The big factor is the current attitude; it's now acceptable for a hitter to strike out a lot as long as he has power. The current beliefs would have been sacrilege 20 years ago.

u read the same article i did, baseball is terrible nobody hits and run steals bases, moves runners over, teams get 1st and 2nd no outs and leave them stranded all the time, it's home run or strike out very hard to watch
