Well it looked to me like the fan base still loves him by watching the All Star weekend. Not sure it would be as easy as you make it out to be, unless they get a team to send them a ton for him.

Who cares what the fanbase wants. Maybe the organization has already gotten word that he has no intention of re-signing. If that's true, they would be stupid not to see what they could get for him.

I used to love love Bryce Harper! He was absolutely my favorite player when he came up and I’ll never forget his opening night, his first game, I was hanging in the 50% deserted Lake Las Vegas, I had Stras and the Nats that game and they gave up 2 in the 9th and then lost in Extra Innings. Was a brutal losss!!! I was depressed with like 20 people at a small Irish pub.

i remember when he would run out singles and try to make doubles, now he jogs on possible double plays.
