They are actually very deep in the secondary. Verrett has played 3 games the previous 2 seasons, so not a complete disaster. Trevor Williams played at a pro bowl level in his place last season and the slot corner, Desmond King, had a fantastic rookie season last year. There's some depth on top of that as well.

have not heard anything but have high hopes for him..hoping he turns a very good secondary into an elite one.

torn achilles confirmed and Verrett will miss the season....again.

after missing this year, Verrett will have played 25 of the past 80 games.

He is a great player but time to move on..does no good if you can not stay on the field.

Verret has the potential to be a top 5 corner in the league but the Chargers are still dominant up front with their 7, the meat and potatoes of their defense.

Everyone is high on the rams but it's the other LA team that has true superbowl potential. The only real threat should be jax this yr
