My last trip to Vegas, I was only there for 2 days. It was a quick side trip from Scottsdale.
Stayed at Caesar's and bought in $600 at the Crap table and I ran it up to a little over $5k. Then went over to Harrah's and had dinner then I bought in $1k at the crap table there and ran it into $50k. I had another $20k on the table when I 7'd out. Drove back to Scottsdale the next day before I could give any of it back.

Sick run. I normally stay at Bellagio. Like to play during the day when tables are less crowded.

Nice run
I've been lucky a few times, the best one was when this girl who knew nothing about craps held the dice for an hour and a half
she was betting $25 on the pass line with no odds so I started throwing her chips for her odds. at first the boyfriend didn't like it, but after they started to collect a lot more he was my best friend at the end of the run.
she made the whole table a lot of money including myself
wish they were all like that, but we all know better

Good news. I'll be the one with a Saratoga/Delmar daily racing form in hand.
Have to make my bets and hope to be cashing after the conference, Green machine
and video poker.

Thanks for the update I’m a sucker for that bonus bet. Hit it a few times at Bellagio

Regular casinos pay out 35-1 on small and tall and 175-1 on the all. Nugget only gives 30-1 and 150-1

Fremont only gives the double odds but the waitresses come by every couple of minutes and they give crazy comps.

Flamingo habitat at Flamingo is cool and free. It's close to the Bellagio fountains too.
If they like gardens then they should check out the Springs Preserve... it's beautiful and relaxing there. Not far away either. Also cheap, $5 I think.
If they like the outdoors then Red Rock Canyon is close by. It's a nice scenic drive and there's some fun, mild hikes. Valley of Fire State Park is a little more visually impressive, but it's also farther away.
Mac King at Harrah's is a great show for kids, and very cheap if you can get discount tickets (the American Casino Guide has them, as well as about a dozen other places.)

A handful of money should be all that is needed for a mother/daughter combo to find "something" to do in Vegas!

I got my family the Vegas Power Pass. Basically most Vegas attractions are included for 1 price. I got the passes at work for $63. After visiting 3 attractions you are at the break even point.
They will also be spending a lot of time at the pool. The shark tank pool and slide with the waterfalls is a big hit with kids.
