It's the middle of the school year and too hard to get away for 5+ days just to come home feeling like a busted bumhole. Not worth the pain for Vegas. If I'm going to make all those arrangements and suffer like hell it needs to be somewhere I haven't been a gazillion times before! I do wish I could catch up with everyone again this year though

About 15 hours to LA plus the flight to Vegas. And whatever crappy layovers I get stuck with especially if I have to go through another Aussie city to get out. It's the way back that's the killer because of the time difference. On the way home we lose a whole day so I leave Vegas on say the 24th and arrive home on the 26th. It's messed up.

It's shocking. The travel to the DR bash though was the worst. I went through LA, Utah, Georgia, Miami... seriously close to 50 hours to get there. Thought I was going to cry or die. Ended up falling asleep on the toilet at dinner with Mr and Mrs Bigday instead

Sherry was going to send me on nine planes I believe from Las Vegas to the Dominican Republic and there was no way I was going . The trip was going to take 31 hours with many lay overs . I questioned her and she says bring a lot of reading material when I complained about it


I’m clever so I called the travel agent and she said you only have to take two planes .

The whole thing was bizarre, I proceed to tell Sherry the information I got from a travel agent and she says the girl probably did know what she was talking about and looking for a sale.

Does anyone know does it really take nine planes from Las Vegas to get to the Dominican Republic?

I remember I use to go to happening clubs and bars back in the day with the boys... We'd go right in and if was a sausage fest of men we would leave right out.. We'd only hang at clubs or bars in Hollywood that had the chicks.. That's how I rolled back in my party days..

What's wrong with you people??? Bring the ladies, give them free traveling money, free rooms and gambling chips or what ever it takes. For the love of God, make it interesting for some of us single men that may want to attend one of these one day.. ..

Hollywood Sunset bars worked for me back in the day, forgot alot of the names but all those bars on sunset worked on the strip..

I remember the Sky bar, lava lounge, Hollywood Athletic Club, Coconut Teasers, Madame Wongs, etc.. House of Blues, some cowboy bar across the street on Sunset can't remember the name but that was a local hang out.. They had a electric bull going and chicks would ride it.. Funny... There were a bunch of bars in that immediate area on Sunset BLVD that I always went to with friends..

I even remember going to these clubs back in the day.... Florenteen Gardens, Roxbury, Troubador... 321 in Santa Monica.. Kings Room too..

Had alot of fun back then, partied hard..

That place was fun then you walk to a smaller bar a block away.. Fun nights there..

Tommy's or Pinks was always a good closer.. That was the plan for me and the boys as well when we didn't hook up with chicks....

Harry O's was the spot in the South Bay but there were others. The Boogie Nights always used to play there. Sharkeez when it was in Manhattan Beach before it burned down was a good one. Fukk me I used to drink a lot.

There were westwood village bars near UCLA as well that jumped at one time.. Dillons was one of them if I remember correctly.. Forgot the other one.. We'd bar and club hop there also way back in the day, cruise Sunset and then Westwood.. I think I was in high school then 12th grade.. Way back with Dillons..
