The Pacific Surfliner is still running although I haven't taken it in a while. I think you can take it from Union Station.

Anyone play Del Mar today? There was a 75-1 and 30-1 winner.

No so tough to even pick one winner

So many good horses make it even harder each race to handicap

Del Mar is impossible for me - the fields are large and there is something about that surface that makes it harder for me to cap. First day of the meet was all chalk and now this. Threw a dart and hit that 30-1 though. 3 dollars. I am big time.

                      What happened here?

Espinoza is in the hospital with a neck fracture after his horse collapses with a heart attack during training?

Oh boy, did someone screw up at the stables? Dope the horse?

This seems rare and I wouldn't be surprised to see a little investigation.

Was going to ask for you to check in.

What's not as rare? The horse's heart attack or that he was doped and had a heart attack?

horse having heart attack or heart failure. doubtful he was drugged.

not many using drugs anymore with the random testing in ppace at all tracks. doctor could be paid off but who knows.

people using different tricks like inserting cayene pepper into the horses ass before a race etc..

                                Sad story for sure.

Espinoza goes way back to the 90's for me.

A little wiki fact about him...

Espinoza became the first jockey in history to get three opportunities to win the Triple Crown[1] and earned back-to-back wins with California Chrome and American Pharoah in both the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes, only the sixth jockey in history to do so.
