Anybody see the K9 hand vs Cada's A6? Cada bluffs the river. Sorry, I think Big Blind has to call that w/ top-pair vs a Button open.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

You can be the best poker player of all time, play the correct way by %s each time, and still lose based on luck of the draw.
I feel bad for these kids that get sucked into WSOP, paying huge entry fees, thinking it’s a skill game when it’s 90% luck who gets in the money.

Interesting that you say it’s 90% luck, the day after Phil Helmuth won his 15th bracelet and Cada makes the final table again. Must be the luckiest guys in the world!

these poker player fellas are well-tuned athletes; unlike golfers and car drivers, they can carry even more fat and succeed in today's poker arena....

They are. How many times do the play and lose?
I’ve known many good poker players who some nights lose because they are never dealt a hand they can win with. And if you think you can bluff your way to a bunch of big pots - that’s not skill. That’s luck and a reckless no fear of losing mentality (something legit gamblers shy away from)

Golfers, bball players, etc etc all lose too. The point is its often the same people that win and make deep runs. There is always some luck, but a lot is skill.

Cada has 30 cashes over the last 4 WSOPs. Average 7.5 per year. Even if he played all the events it was physically possible to enter that would be about a 1 in 4 hit rate. But it's more likely around 50% events he has cashed.
Averaging 500k a year in prizemoney.

They say luck is where skill meets preparation. Put yourself in the right spots and you will get “lucky”

He three barreled after the button raise pre. The key to that bluff is Cada ran it against the only player capable of making that lay down. In a random tournament it’s a spew but in this spot it’s ultra high level.

well, Cada won another bracelet last night, his 4th overall..
That's sick. 2 bracelets, I think 4 final tables including the main event. What a run.

Unbelievable. After 10 days and getting 5th in the main event he entered and won a field of 3,100 players in the final event. Just wow.

I read somewhere Deeb is too far ahead so Cada isn't even going to Europe to try and catch him.

not sure, Shaun Deeb won 2 bracelets as well. I can't stand Deeb so I hope Cada wins it. Deeb is a complete slob and disgustingly obese.

Deeb is in the lead Europe counts too but not sure if anyone will even go there to try to catch him. I doubt Ben Yu who is in 2nd would he does not really play except for WSOP.
