Throwing this out there, for all the people attending the Bash, what do you think about having a 12 team league for about a $250-$300 cash byin with a live draft?

Jj, we'll do the draft at a bar or somewhere, not in a hotel room. Maybe SBR can even give us a room. We'll have beer. A live fantasy football draft used to be one of the funnest days of the year for me. This tops Vegas and we're in Vegas!Comment -

Draft shouldn't take more than 2.5 - 3 hrs, most people will be in Vegas for 3-5 days, I'm sure we can squeeze a live draft in somewhere. I'm not willing to throw out the $$$ for just anyone to keep. I don't know how this league safe works, but if it's legit, I'd be down to play.Comment -
The draft would take less than 2 hours (unless it was an auction draft).

Ok, I set up a league with Yahoo. It is - SBR Las Vegas Bash 2018 - here is the link
I also set up a LeagueSafe account for us to hold the money.
I put the cost at $280, $275 for our pool and $5 a head so I can buy a draft board and whatever else we need for the draft. If there's money left over, maybe I'll buy beer with it.
It is a 12 man league, first come, first serve - I guess whoever pays first with LeagueSafe is in. If we don't get 12 people to signup, LeagueSafe says we can have a refund of our money before the draft.
Prize Structure
Total Money - $3,300
1st Place - $2,000
2nd Place - $650
Regular Season Most Points - $650
LeagueSafe charges 4% if paid by credit card but it is free if you use an online check. So if you are paying by credit card, make sure you pay the extra 4%.
I propose doing the draft sometime Saturday, August 25th at about noon, but we will figure it out when we are not tied up doing SBR events or the poker tourney, so as we know more, we'll figure it out.
There are also miniscule charges by LeaugeSafe on the winners payouts, only a few dollars so it shouldn't be a problem.
I am also proposing at least 3 minutes given for each pick. It will go much quicker than that in the early rounds but if we did less time than that it is defeating the purpose of a live draft.Comment -
Last time we did a Bash FF, we just selected the draft order at the draft.
Then set up an online draft for a later date.
