Local talk with la laker cronies is that this is a move to have the big trade with San Antonio to move the youngsters to spurs to get Leonard now . Ball kuzma and Deng to spurs..if spurs wants something Lakers have what they want now with rondo replacing ball

Rondo's a good player, but what good is he when Lebron dominates the point?

so you think its about pace?

The main stay is Lebron and in LA most players do want to play with him and for the Lakers.. Next year if players are moved more will come..

Lakers are trying to win now... Let's see if Leonard and Cousins comes now??? Lakers get Leonard it's game on!!!!

With Randle just being traded that tells me Cousins is signing on next for sure.. Cousins is a big body and better then Randle.. Upgrades are happening now!!!!

I don't think it's necessarily a good fit but Lebron can be a dominant scorer for Rondo to look for as well. Honestly kinda think LBJ can do whatever he wants but he holds back to be a team player

I bring up defense to let you know it WAS in fact pace of play that led them to score so much.

                        volume

                        they shot alot

                        back to my point.

do you not agree that they could use some really good 3 point shooters?

are there any winning teams that Don't want that?

Ball and Rondo are almost identical players, with Rondo being better. I don't see how they go into the season with both guys on the roster. Looks like Ball may be on his way out.

Ball can't piss in the same bucket as Rondo right now please.. In time maybe if Lonzo continues to develop..

Right now Rondo has better handles, can see the floor better, defend better, pass better.. Just a better player and I hope he starts over Ball..

                                        Lebron will gut this offense.

brilliant chess move by him, ahead of time to manipulate the Cavs into making the trade with the Lakers mid season last year. opening up cap space for him to go there as a FA.

I've heard alot of insiders say, this move was done a long time ago, IF the cavs weren't able to win it this year, and maybe no matter what

you can't name too many top 20 all time players that didn't spend some time with the Lakers at one point or another.

The Spurs are not trading Kwahi to the West and are apparently looking for gaurantees that the East team who does land him won’t deal him out west either.

It’s either Ingram or Kuzma to go along with Ball for any trades they do work out. Pelicans have a new need for PG so maybe Ball and BI for Cousins is the goal. I like Ingram a lot but I think Kuzma is a better fit for this new look Lakers and word on the street is Laker management agrees. He’s the only one who’s name hasn’t been offered in any trade talks so far.

Could have gotten some picks and players from the East teams but gonna have to settle for LA's pu-pu platter. Unless they try to hold him for a trade deadline deal, hoping someone gets desperate for one last piece. Personally I think they'd deal him to ANYONE but the Lakers but they'll be lucky they get a 1st rd pick for him now. No one is giving up a lot for a guy who's waiting on a huge payday next year.
