#3The Indians will reportedly be shopping Corey Kluber.
The Yankees sound interested and badly need an ace.

Carrasco as well. $19 million for Kluber and $7 for Carrasco in 2019. Club option for both in 2020 and 2021. I Would think there would be considerable interest in both.Comment -

#8H@ly shit! Then again, Pujols signed for 10 years at 32 years old (or thereabouts). Machado might be better all-around player, but post season antics didn’t help him. Harper also more of a box office draw.Originally posted by Mr KLCMLB Trade Rumors is predicting that Harper and Machado will get 13-14 years deals.Comment -

#9I posted some incorrect info, Carrasco around $9 for 2019 w option only for 2020. Carrasco will turn 32 before the season starts, was a little surprised he was that old. I think my preference would be go for Kluber, 2 years at around $40 is pretty decent value.Originally posted by Chili_PowderCarrasco as well. $19 million for Kluber and $7 for Carrasco in 2019. #10Indians' payroll/attendance ranking
2012 $68.9m/29th
2013 $89M/28th
2014 $84m/29th
2015 $87m/29th
2016 $118m/28th
2017 $151m/22nd
2018 $150m/21st
In short: Increased spending dramatically; won a lot of games and reached postseason/WS; didn't get much of a bump in attendance.Comment -

#11Would like to see Brewers make a run at Kluber, they could afford the 2 years, actually perfect for a small market team TV wise (they do well in attendance). Have a feeling Burnes would have to be part of the package going to Indians, don’t know if Brewers will part with himComment -

#12Teams talking to the Cleveland Indians say the Indians are much more inclined to trade Trevor Bauer than Corey Kluber or Carlos Carrasco. Bauer has 2 years of club control left, but the only one of the starters with cost uncertainty. He has two arbitration years left before FA.Comment -
