To be honest baseball is the worst team sport to bet large on a single game because a season has 152 games and too many variables and factors that influence the outcome of a game, even when a team sends out their ace or hottest pitcher or whatever there is imo too much variance in baseball. It's not worth it to risk that kind of money for the return one can expect.

Maybe in a playoff game where the situation of the series is convenient enough to consider a big play.

In a regular season teams and players don't weigh a loss as heavily as in other sports due to the nature of the schedule compared to let's say American Football, baseball you can lose today then you get a new chance to rebound the next day. Same goes with a starter in the rotation, you lose you get your chance in 4-6 days to redeem yourself.
