    Surprise surprise, another chokejob disappearing act by this guy. The one great thing about this World Cup is that it has universally solidified Ronaldo as the #1 player in the world and the top player of his generation. Messi will forever now be regarded as #2.

      Ronaldo is a big choker too, never does anything at World Cups/Euro Cups either until the last two games.
      They are both overrated. Easy to pile up goals against crappy teams playing on Real/Barca.

          Ronaldo is far from overrated. And he absolutely shows up on the international stage, or do you forget how Ronaldo single handedly carried Portugal to the semis a few Euros back? Or the huge goal he scored in the semi's against Wales in 2016? And that's before this World Cup.

          At the very least, he's much ahead of Messi.

                              He never scores against anyone good, Wales is not even a team.
                              Look at his Goal for average on the national team.

                              The reason Portugal won the Euro was because he got injured and did not play. Got a few lucky bounces and voila.
                              Did nothing at the last World Cup and the previous one.
