This trade is all about getting rid of the awful Mozgov contract. The fact that Howard can still be a somewhat productive player is a bonus. Would be shocked if he's still a Net a season from now.

Not sure what Charlotte is doing here - they planning on tanking the next 2 years?

Great trade for nets. Not only so they get rid of mozgovs deal that has 2 years left and get Howard's expiring, but he's a far better player obviously.

Hornets just wanted to get under luxury tax I guess, but they probably trade kemba soon and go full tank mode.

Nets xouls6 be major free agent players next summer.
