he should be. his starting pitcher has in his last 3 starts given up 15 er 20 h in only 16 ip of work. those are gas can numbers. his opponent hasn't done much better but colorado way overpriced here. slugfest. colorado has lost their last 8 home games and given up 81 runs in them. pitching staff must be in shambles by now. this team was contending through may. but no longer.

help us understand. what is a situational play exactly. very bad situation colorado has found themselves in lately. giving up 10 runs a game (avg.) last 8 home games probably has never happened before in mlb history. mets no prize but betting on a team who has possibly the worst 8 game home stretch ever doesn't seem too astute. especially at -150 or so.
