Anyone listening to VSIN on Sirius? Great report on NJ-- online wagering segment

They just had a 25-30 minute segment on NJ's attempt to roll out sports betting.

Online wagering will commence 30 days after the first land based wagers start.

Other tidbits:

*Borgata will have a SuperContest
*Resorts and DK will have buy-in weekly pick contests
*Monmouth Park will also have a large buy in Survivor contest.
*Expect 7 AC casinos to have sportsbooks by the time the NFL kicks off, with reduced juice perks to get gamblers in to casinos. Thinks 105 will be available at a few shops.

It's on Sirius channel 204. Great stuff. But I agree, terrible commercials. I worry about their ability to stay afloat when they run the same 4 terrible commercials over and over. Not a good sign.

LT, that's not a good reason to miss out on an opportunity. Take a beta blocker (inderal) before you go on. Prevents your adrenal glands from kicking in and making you seem nervous. Does not make you dopey or drowsy. Many professional speakers/performers use them. Besides, you'll be speaking about a subject you are an expert in so there's really no reason to be nervous.
