randomly met him at a strip club in phoenix and then went to the talking stick casino with him and a few of his teammates. Cole aldrich was a good guy also. He got asked to leave the casino for packing a fat lip of skoal i had provided him. Shocked they kicked an nba guy out for a lil dirt in his gums. The only game durant would play was war. He didn't seem like the sharpest tool in the shed but I said fack it and sat down with him and Thabo Sefolosha at the high stakes table just for the story and to continue this weird night. They had played the Lakers earlier that night (lakers stunk at time) and they choked a big halftime lead and got smoked in the 2nd half. Westbrook who is from LA played horribly and pretty much lost the game for the team going like 5-24 from the field. The team immediately hopped on a plane to phoenix after as they had a game coming up there and a bunch of them went out to blow off some steam. When Russ came into the casino and joined the group he was painful to be around. I got more who the fack is this white boy comments than i could keep up with.
The minimum bet was 100 and the max was 10k. I was pretty much betting the minimum and cleaning up while the other guys were slightly down or even betting the max (KD anyway). Kevin was keeping his composure but russ and thabo and some of the other guys watching were really laying into the white boy that kept taking his card. On the last hand of the night he got permission to raise the max bet to 25000 and i was slightly relieved we were done with this mindless game that i kept getting bashed for winning. On the final hand dealer throws me a queen and then kevin got a 4 and the entire area groaned and started bitch ing that i took his card again wah wah. The dealer then proceeded to also get a 4 so kevin had to double the bet and go heads up with the dealer 3 cards down and boom he won and the crowd went crazy. Cool finish. i was off the hot seat and getting high fives.Comment -
Event though I can't stand Durant... the real story of the NBA Playoffs was Toronto losing to Cleveland 4 straight. This is absolutely ridiculous.
