Scherzer & Nats vs Tampa Bay Rays Tuesday Night

I planned on riding Max Scherzer against the Rays (-250) but then i saw these stats:

Rays as underdogs are: 23-9
Nationals as favs are 23-25
Nationals at home are 12-14

So my question for you MLB gurus is, do those stats have any bearing with Scherzer on the mound?
