Grew up in Vermont on Hockey. best sport in the world...Just watch the Stanley Cup Playoffs...Years ago, even though growing up a Bruins fan back in the Orr, Esposito, Bucyk, Sanderson, Cashman, O'rielly, Cheevers day, often we would go over the border and go to the old Forum in Montreal and see Beliveau, Rocket Richard, Gainey, Cournyer, LaFleur etc so many stars i don't recall their names now.....Then moving to NC 30 years ago became a season ticket holder to Carolina Hurricane Hk....The Greatest sporting event i've ever been to was June 19, 2006, Game 7, Hurricanes beating the Oilers for the Stanley Cup...Can't describe the feeling being one of 21,000 people watching the players skate around the rink holding the cup above their heads....You talk about Pandemonium...Comment -
