Sharapova +125 to beat Serena 2 unit play for me

Serena has been grunting and screaming her way to choke her mentally weak opponents. Lesser Pliskova could have easily won the 1st round if she was able to move but she moved worse (has been all her career) post pregnancy serena. Barty mentally choked after being set and up in the 2nd set 1-1; serena simply let out monster grunts and scream with stare down and barty got intimidate and choked it away. I didn't watch today's game against Georges so can't comment on that but I did watch Sharapova every match....her level is at highest since getting suspended. She has experience, grunts and screams and winners attitude and and above all power to match Serena's. Sharapova as a good here is excellent value. 2 units for me.

I have won every bet i placed in French open so far except 2 and those 2 losses were against Serena in 1st and 2nd round. But i think Serena's run and my losing with her ends after this match.

lol cmon man nobody cares about any screams or grunts, barty was overpowered serena just too good even with all the time off, she hits deep and consistent, just once in a 2 generation athlete, just too good

Serena is great but she is far from "one in a 2 generation athlete" form. Her side to side movement is very limited and her oppoenets so far haven't really taken advantage of that. Sharapova is a former grand slam winner with a lot of experience and she has the power.

Also serena had a great career because there was no other who could match her power. WTA field is pretty weak. Unlike basketball/american football, tennis is cannot be picked up for free in places like ymca. If someone in USA opened a charity tennis program/school in the projects/ghettos of usa we will see many like serena who will dominate the WTA.....might not be the same case in ATP though because guys from those areas probably wont have the discipline/attitude to succeed in atp.

These basketball players and american football players should send their daughters to tennis schools because for now they can easily afford tennis lessons. Hell even most parents white or black should send their kids to tennis classes instead of wasting money on piano/guitar/ballet classess....save all that money and put it towards tennis until the wta field gets stronger. Tennis is a sport you gotta start picking up at young age if you want to excel in all areas of the game.

Doesn't matter. Given the way these two have played their matches so far in this french open, Sharapova should be slight favorite.

To put it into perspective, Serena was a dog against Barty and now favorite against Sharapova because everyone is jumping on the serena train.

I agree about sharapova's serve. If she has a bad serve day then she will struggle and lose but I think after 3 matches her serves should click.

Serena isnt at her best no and neither is sharapova since shes been back..with that being said no way in hell id back her knowing she hasnt beat serena since 2004, some ppl just have ppls numbers regardless, this is one example

This match might not happen. I heard Serena might withdraw prior to match. If she plays and falls behind too much, she might retire as well. Be sure to play in books where bet stands after 1 set is completel
