Jordan had tougher road to finals (hence not making it as many times and getting bounced in early rounds several times) and much easier finals opponents, hence the perfect record.


James has had easier road to finals, hence no first round losses and rarely getting bounced (more finals appearances) he’s clearly played much tougher teams in finals, hence the much worse record in the finals. Besides Dallas, Jordan would’ve lost every finals LeBron did. And possibly an additional 1-2.
