Vegas has no offense, they rely too much on the forecheck and opponents mistakes.

Washington learned from Winnipeg on how to clear the zone, chip the puck out in the air, not along the boards.

great point about staying off the boards. puck control was easy for caps. size big difference tonight vegas got pushed around all game.

caps made it very hard all series for vegas to get clean shots, clogging up lanes. no where to shoot.

Really no need, doesn't matter what happens it has nothing to do w "destiny". Like I said I kinda figured it be 2-2 after 4 but just felt more confident chasing caps for a win at home thinking way more likely they win both than lose both at home. Now that I got the W without having to chase really not sure what I'm gonna do game 4? Actually have my doubts vegas takes this next one after watching caps dominate them tonight. Team that wins game 3 after being tied 1-1 has a incredibly high series success rate in the finals, 21-6 or something believe I saw.

I love the Knights, They should even it up to .500, at 2-2, then go home to take a 3-2, go to Wash for a 3-3, and the Final is in Vegas at home to win the Seventh. Capitals get confident, Golie will be on in the next Games for Knights.

Exactly. Kutznetsov is one of the best players in the NHL. Would have bet Vegas without him, Wash with him. That's how good he is. Only reason Wash prolly won game 2 without him is because troops rallied around his absence. But that only works for 1 game. It won't work twice.

That's not an indictment on Vegas, but Ovi wants this more than Trump wants a wall, and the guys want to win it for him as well as themselves; Vegas has the happy to be here look, and the whole dump the puck and pray for rebounds stops working eventually.

Disclaimer: I went to one of the games the last time the Caps made the cup, going to Vegas for Game 5 and praying we close it out. That being said if Vegas is down 3-1 Game 5, I doubt they lose that game.
