True, but that was again the Cavs choice. Lebron had the ball with 7 seconds left, he very easily could have drained the clock and got a shot at the buzzer and either made it - Cavs win, or miss it and they lose. But instead, he passed the ball to a cutter (which was risky even if Hill hadn't been fouled).

I think the Cavs played that wrong, because they either should have shot earlier, or just taken it all the way down and had Lebron either miss or make to win the game. You definitely did not want to go into OT.

I'm giving props to LeBron for not instantly tackling Smith and going all MMA on him... you work all season, play almost every min, hit game winners in playoffs... win a road game 7 to get to finals... in position to win game 1 on road, put your team up 2 TWICE in the final min... get a shady overturned charge call go against you... still make the right read late in game down 1 with Hill cutting open to basket and firing a pass to him with Klay being forced to foul and make him make free throws (smart as)

he misses the 2nd... and smith gets the lucky rebound and .... RUNS OUT THE CLOCK (not smart)

This is why I think he's probably the most pathetic dumbass in NBA finals history. Guy has a single digit IQ, fine, sure, whatever, but we literally all saw what happened and he's still so goddamn clueless he thinks maybe we didn't, because how do cameras work?
