#37most of those missed 3's came after that obviously blown call.
How was that not a foul.. when we all have seen that called 1000x times..
League did not want Houston in there. agreed

#39AutoDonk is right about this issue. This is why he mentions the 'time' 9:32 (3rd Qtr.)
the overwhelming majority of the misses came after that terrible call.
when the pivotal moment was gone. Everything after that moment was affected.
taking away 4 pts from the Rockets.. gave a ton of energy to the Warriors,
energy that was taken away from the Rockets.
after that point they began to play out of desperation, which they were not doing prior to that.
It greatly, even created the outcome.
People can't cite what happened 'after' as the cause.. as those events would never have happened
if the correct call had been made.

#40Fixing is a prickly subject but if you're denying the refs had a major impact on this game then you don't know basketball. Shooters need FTs & layups to gain confidence. Harden was in the zone when he had 3FTs taken from him. Being a smart guy he came back and did the same thing a play or two later, assuming the refs would redeem themselves. No call again. That's a head penetrate -it tells you you're going to get raped in front of a TV audience.
Then the 4pt play in the 3rd, the illegal screen by Bell, Gordon getting whacked on a drive. Remember these refs.Comment -

thanks for saving me the time....
bad calls don't happen in a vacuum.... they affect the play after, and a series of momentum changing calls took place at the end of the first half (denying harden three foul shots on a non-call just before the end of the half, for ex,) and continued on through the pivotal blown call at 9:32 of the third; all the shit that went down after that point never happens had those rigged calls/non-calls not been made; in all likelihood houston leads by 22 pts, and waltzes into the 4th quarter with a comfortable lead they never lose.....Comment -

#43Donk and Ratzz gets it. The NBA wanted GS, so they clearly assisted the Rocket's implosion. All it takes is a few calls on one side to change a game. A call was made at halftime and the refs complied. It wasn't even subtle. They just started calling everything on Houston and nothing on GS. Houston had a ton of momentum and you could see the air deflate out of the building with several well timed WTF no calls. Tucker and Gordon both got raped on live TV. Their pants were hanging down their legs after getting fukkked and the refs looked the other way.
The league might have told Rocket's owner, Daryl Morey that it was better for the league for the Warriors to advance. He's probably in on the fraud as he's revenue goes up as the league goes up. He fell on the sword and you'll never hear anyone accuse the refs for doing what was best for the league.Comment -

#44There's some idiot posters on here I swear. If you believe in conspiracy, bet your whole life savings. Did you? Should have done it live. If you think the NBA wants the Warriors vs Cavs, you are wrong. Why would they want a potential sweep and lose so much revenue? You think they are stupid? Look at the odds for the series and you can tell what the NBA and Vegas thinks of the Finals. NBA makes the most money on a 7 game finals. They get revenue, ratings, and entertainment. They want a competitive series. I know way more people who would watch the finals if it was Cavs vs Rockets. Cavs vs Rockets would go 7 especially without CP3. Warriors vs Cavs will go 5 max.Comment -

#45Yup. Refs tore Cp3's hamstring as well.
If the NBA wanted GS to win, you really think they would let Houston go up by 10 points in B2b games at halftime?? Fukk no... In a rigged game, the team that has the refs on their side don't lose control of the game...
It's common sense.
Also, if you think there's always rigs, why is there so many sweeps and NBA finals blowouts? That must be horrible for ratings?
If Chris Paul doesn't tear his hamstring, Rockets likely win that series.
Where is the rig now?
F are you smoking bro.
Don't have time to teach you things every single day bro. Come on. Get your shit together and stop being a fanboy.
You too Mac4Life.
I can easily destroy any "evidence" you guys bring up.
Every single point, down to the bone, I'll destroy it.
NBA hasn't been rigged for 15 years.
If it was, you actually think Lebron and Wade would lose a championship their first year together against the lowly Mavs? Lebron had 0 rings going into that year, and was getting older......
You really think they'd let Lebron and Wade THE FOLLOWING YEAR go down 3-2 to BOSTON???? And Lebron having to drop 45 and 15 in game 6 to keep chances alive?
If they wanted their poster boy to win.... they would never allow him to be that close to elimination....because they you have to rely on so many outliers just to get the result you want!
Calculated people (i.e. the people who rig games) don't rely on OUTLIERS!! They don't pray for a couple 3s to miss! They take control of the game, which there was clearly none of in that Rockets game. Houston was like 7 for fukking 44 from 3. 7 for 44!!!!
WHAT THE FUKK???
Who gives a flying fukk about a couple of fouls dude. These are professional players. Warriors were down 10 in game 6 at half and won the game BY 30!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
30! You think a couple of missed fouls are gonna change that? NO! Call a few extra fouls for Harden even if you want! THEY LOST 1 HALF OF BASKETBALL BY 40 POINTS! 40!!!!!!!!!!!!!
COMMON FUKKING SENSE!

#51You are clueless... Cav's/Warrior's last year finals was the highest rated NBA series EVER. This year's Finals will be the highest average viewership as well, no matter if it goes 4 or 7. You obviously do not have a clue how the NBA makes money because the NBA makes the SAME amount of money if the series goes 4 or 7. ABC/ESPN already paid for the rights to broadcast the Finals. For them, it's obviously in their best interest for the series to go 7 but it does not matter to the NBA.Originally posted by sports pick guruThere's some idiot posters on here I swear. Just because you know more people that would watch Cav's/Rockets doesn't make you right. The Warriors and the Cav's are the 2 biggest draws in the NBA, not just in the US but globally as well. The Rocket's were 5th nationally. But if you look in local markets, the Rockets are like 14th.
Locally or nationally, nobody moves the NBA ratings needle like the Warriors and Cavaliers.
The Warriors were the most-watched NBA team on national TV this season (excluding NBA TV), with their 31 games on ESPN, ABC and TNT averaging 2.72 million viewers. That is actually a 4% decline from last year (2.82M), but still the highest average in the NBA.
The Cavaliers were the second-most watched, with their 27 telecasts averaging 2.65 million (+11%). Golden State and Cleveland were also the two most-watched teams last season.
The Celtics ranked third (2.33M, +36%), followed by the Thunder (2.20M, +11%), Rockets (2.07M, +29%), Knicks (1.82M, -6%) and Lakers (1.80M, +29%). Other notables included the Wizards (1.79M, +46%) and Sixers (1.69M, +37%).
The least-watched team on national TV was the Utah Jazz, whose seven games averaged 1.06 million (-11%).Comment -

#52lol, you do not think before you post? You're talking about last year? What does last year have to do with this year? Last year was part 3. It was 1-1 in the finals and part 3 should be the highest rated because it breaks the tie. You forgot the Cavs came back to win a 73-9 team from 1-3 to win the finals? It brought the hype for part 3. Guess what happened? GS dominated and that was with Kyrie. No one wants to see that again especially without Kyrie. Look at the odds and know exactly how this series will turn out. You say this year's Finals will be the highest? How would you know? It hasn't even started yet. Stop assuming and go back to reality. You're telling me that the NBA makes the same amount of money even if it goes 4 or 7? LOL. That's bullshit. If it goes 4, there's no ticket sales on game 5-7. There's no extra views or commercial sales for ABC/ESPN. There's no concession sales or product sales. NBA as a product will be criticized for a bad Finals. So yes, the clueless one is YOU!Comment -

#53Like I said... The NBA does not make 1 more dollar if it goes 4 games or 7 games. They have already made their money. The Finals are already paid for. Go look it up. Now, ESPN, ABC and the local venues are a different story. What you are thinking about is future revenue. If the Finals suck, then that has a direct effect on future negotiations but it has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING with this years earnings.Originally posted by sports pick gurulol, you do not think before you post? NBA ratings are up 30% across the board this year. The average viewership is through the roof, especially for national televised games, even though most were blowouts. GS and Cleveland are the highest viewed teams in the league. It is only obvious that this years Finals will be better than last years and better than if the Rockets was in there.
But, since you believe that the Trilogy is much more watchable than a 4 peat. I'll bet you 1,000 bet points that this year will be higher. Put your money where your... Oh fuk, you don't even have any betpoints. You have 6 damn betpoints to your damn name??? How the hell could you be here for 10+ years and only 6 betpoints? #54Lol I swear you are probably the most idiot poster on sbr. Are you serious talking about betpoints? What does that have to do with the subject? Is that how you prove yourself wrong by changing subjects? Wow, you have betpoints. I'm so jealous. Wait, I have cash in my bank, who gives a damn. You said ratings are up 30%? But we're not talking about this year are we? We are talking about the Finals. Are you serious? ESPN/ABC are sponsors/investors. If you think investors don't impact the NBA, you need to take business 101. Did you know that game 7 would have given the Warriors an estimated 11 million in revenue last year? Game 6 would have also given the Cavs 11 million. Last I checked, they are both part of the NBA. Maybe you'll learn something new. The NBA gets 25% cut of playoff gate revenues. Imagine the ticket prices for games 5-7 of an NBA Final. You think it's chump change? Are you seriously that naive to believe the NBA doesn't make more money off games 5-7? Wow, I have nothing else to say. Talking to an idiot who just responds with idiot comments. You can continue this conversation if you want but I'm no longer responding. Now you know why I only have 6 betpoints. Talking to an idiot will sooner or later turn me into one. There's a reason I stopped posting. LOLComment -
