bet it now. line should drop. huge SP edge for braves here. boston dh is blake (0-4) swihart. playing bad knee nunez at 3rd. pedroia at 2nd (rust). overused their closer last nite in non-save situation. saddened by the heartless decision to fire hanley (was not the managers decision like they say). only 1 o'clock game. take the live dog here.

Exactly. And Boston splits vs. lefties not nearly as good. In fact as a team their BA is about 40 pts higher vs. righties. The line worries me a bit because it seems like books are begging for Atlanta money, but Boston is usually a big public team so maybe that has something to do with it.

Pomerance is also a tier 2-3 lefty. Not an ace. Wish Suzuki has been able to drive in some runs in 1st.

Damn almost had them. Hard to break that Boston lineup with their A team. Thought Newcombe would do better.

Yes I thought Newcombe would be do better as well. Atlanta bullpen and poor defensive play sealed their fate. I guess Braves 1st 5 was the play in hindsight.
