Can’t speak for other states but California’s lottery website lists the number of winning tickets printed and claimed so it’s possible to catch much better odds than advertised if you do a little homework. It’s best to wait until the end of a games 6-12 lifespan to gain resolution on the money still out there. Fun tip is to pay attention to the discarded tickets degens love to leave on the ground outside liquor stores and pound those games since we know some losers have been peeled off the roll. It’ll never be +ev but it’s a fun gamble.

I stay away from the lottery. Shit killed my grandma...she used to blow so much on scratchoffs. She should have known better coming from a family of gamblers and bookies.

To answer the question, I broke even a few times. That's the best I've ever done. That's why I like sports betting so much more...at least I have control over my luck.

The clutch went out on the car and I didn't have the money for repairs. I bought a case of beer and a $1 scratcher and won almost exactly what I needed for the repairs.
